Rapha riding to raise funds for Japanese earthquake victims

Top cycling clothing brand Rapha is planning a series of rides around the world in support of the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Sunday (March 20) sees an event in London and Rapha will match riders donations.For the last four years Rapha has had a team of riders based in Nagano, Japan, who have been documenting their rides, the Yonretto, on Rapha.cc. The devastation after the earthquake and following tsunami is enormous, and Rapha will be supporting Japan by holding a series of global rides. Anyone can take part and participants will be asked to make a donation prior to hitting the bike and the roads in support .

In London “Rapha Rides For Tohoku” is this Sunday 20th March at 9AM. The start is at Barnet Cinema. “Rapha Rides For Tohoku” is not a race, but a social ride in support of Japan. Riders are asked to donate a minimum of £10 to take part and the amount donated will be matched by Rapha and go the Japanese Red Cross.
